Hitting the Two-Week Mark

Let the countdown begin. Andrea and I have hit the 14-day mark until our departure and it feels like there is so much left to do, and so little time to do it. This is especially due in part to the fact that I’d much prefer to spend these holiday-filled weeks with the people I love, rather than on the phone with banks and credit card companies. So what’s left to accomplish?

How to Deal: The Reactions

Over the past few months, I’ve heard it all. From the references to "Taken," "Hostel" and other travel-thrillers to the ever-pressing “Get your act together, get a job and settle down,” I really feel like I have heard it all. So how do you deal with the reactions of others when there are more Eeyores than there are Tiggers? (And yes, that Disney reference just happened.)
